Ogun Govt orders immediate removal of makeshift structure along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

The Ogun State Government has called for the contiguous removal of makeshift structures belonging to roadside traders on Magboro Road connected the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway.

The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Lateef Yusuf, revealed that the traders had encroached upon designated walkways, converting them into makeshift markets.

Yusuf lamented that the traders were disrupting the escaped question of pedestrians and motorists, thereby putting lives astatine hazard of accidents.

He noted that, to avert specified a trend, the ministry is collaborating with the Ministry of Environment and reaffirmed its committedness to coordinating enforcement efforts with different applicable authorities agencies to code the situation.
